Gibson, the beautiful harlequin Great Dane, who stood 7′1″ on his hind legs and was hailed as the World’s Tallest Dog lost his battle with bone cancer. Diagnosed this last April, he underwent an amputation of his front leg and chemo to try to halt the spread but this past week, his owner, Sandy Hall, found out that the cancer had spread to his lungs and spine and in what must have been a heartbreaking decision, euthanized Gibson on Friday. I’ve seen this beautiful boy on TV and all over the internet and you couldn’t help but to just be in awe of him and his wonderful personality. I offer my sincerest condolences to his owner who gave him the hardest but greatest gift a pet parent can ever gift, the gift of release from pain and hurt.
Gibson who was certified the World’s Tallest Dog in 2006 by Guinness World Records was seven years old. It would be the saddest news for the pet lovers including me. If you have a female minature dashund that you think is in heat. you would know after menstral cycle is typically the best time to breed. If you had grew up in a country but never had much to do with the life and time of animals then you must go ahead and know about this.
Female dogs go into heat every 7 months to a year. You can see that they have started by their swollen vulvar which immediately afterwards they start their period which they’ll fight if a male messes with them (sounds like another species,LOL) then after their period a round 4 days they’ll start doing odd things like humping other animals or a pillow or whatever now is when she needs a male, now she is prime this will happen for a week or so.
